5th June release, most likely the Leica DLux 8 twin bro LX100iii which uses the 43 sensor.

Panasonic has a few baskets. The recent release of the good looking Dlux 8 (same time release as S9) is a rebadge of lumix lx100 and is using 43 sensors. This dlux 8 looks more promising as a competitor to X100 family.

Hope with this S9, Lumix will use the same body and put a 43 sensor and become a GM1 mark2. Same as G9ii uses the same S5ii body with a m43 sensor. S9 look small because of the f8 pancake lens. Putting a reasonable bright FF lens makes it big.

And nobody acknowledges that cropped sensor like m43 or APSC did a better job than to crop a FF.

Its a good news to existing OM1 users and also will help to sell the last remaining Om1 (price is dropping). This Om1 mark1 is still an amazing camera especially for wildlife.
